Did you know you can be part of the event as a volunteer? That's right: FIFA and local committees are looking for more than 20,000 people passionate about football, eager to help and be part of the heart of the tournament. Requirements and Registration Process
Becoming a volunteer for the 2026 World Cup is easier than it seems, but there are steps you must follow and key dates you can't miss.
Who can apply?
Anyone over 18 years old at the time of the tournament can apply. You don't need prior experience or to speak perfect English, but you do need a strong desire to collaborate, learn, and represent your city with a positive attitude.

5. Wait for the call for interviews (in-person or virtual). Official applications opened in 2024 and will run until mid-2025. The sooner you apply, the better your chances of being selected in your preferred city. And yes, you can choose between Mexico, the USA, or Canada!
